Laguboti - May 30–31, 2025, ASIX joined forces with the Del Institute of Technology (IT Del) to host a two-day training program titled AI Infrastructure, Smart City & Cyber Security. The event brought together over 200 students, faculty members, and technology professionals in a collaborative effort to accelerate digital innovation and develop future-ready talent in Indonesia. The program was officially opened by Dr. Johannes Harungguan Sianipar, Vice Rector of IT Del, who emphasized the institute’s commitment to establishing an AI Research Center—a strategic step toward strengthening Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem.
Key sessions were led by Mr. Stephen Ho, DBA (CEO of SkyLab), Mr. Andrie Tjioe, and Mr. Alvin Teo (PT ASIX Indonesia Cerdas), who shared insights on AI ethics, scalable machine learning, and cybersecurity applications for both enterprise and government sectors. Lively discussions explored real-world use cases of AI, ranging from edge computing to smart city development. The dynamic exchange between academia and industry underscored the importance of bridging theory and practice, while laying the foundation for deeper, long-term collaboration.
This initiative marks a significant step in nurturing local digital talent and reinforces ASIX’s commitment to a lasting partnership with IT Del. It also aligns with the shared vision of advancing AI innovation across Indonesia—through joint research, student internships, and full support for the development of the AI Research Center.
