BSD City, July 15, 2026 – ASIX participated in the official launch of mBrace (Make BSD Research AI Center of Excellence), a strategic initiative developed by Digital Hub – Sinar Mas Land to accelerate artificial intelligence innovation through collaboration between technology providers, academic institutions, industry players, and regulatory stakeholders.
Held at the BSD City Marketing Office, the launch introduced mBrace as a collaborative platform designed to support AI research, technology development, education, and industry partnerships. The initiative seeks to strengthen BSD City as an emerging hub for artificial intelligence by encouraging cross-sector collaboration and turning innovative ideas into practical solutions for society.

As one of mBrace's R&D and Technology Showcase Partners, ASIX plays a role in bridging AI research with real-world implementation. Through this collaboration, ASIX contributes to the research and development of AI-powered humanoid robots, robotic K9 units, and intelligent drones that can support future Smart City applications. These technologies are designed to enhance public services, improve operational efficiency, and provide real-time insights for better decision-making.

During the event's panel discussion, Alvin Teo, President Director and CEO of PT ASIX Indonesia Cerdas, shared ASIX's perspective on making AI more practical and accessible. He emphasized that AI delivers the greatest impact when it addresses real-world challenges and creates tangible value for businesses, governments, and communities. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration among industry, research institutions, educational organizations, and policymakers to accelerate responsible AI adoption.
